The Holiday Inn is sold out, where most of us are staying, but there are a number of hotels very close to the Los Angeles Convention Center...

Here is another hotel that the Ironman Pro committee has worked with for rates...

Hotel Figueroa
939 S Figueroa St
Los Angeles, CA 90015
(800) 421 9092

The event discount code is TheFitExpo. Our discount rate is $154 for singles and doubles. To get this special rate please mention TheFitExpo when you reserve.  You can get these special lower than normal rates during the period of February 13-18th, 2008. Website is - www.figueroahotel.com

We also have rooms at:

The Marriott Los Angeles Downtown
333 S. Figueroa Street
Los Angeles, California 90071
Phone: (213) 617-1133

Individuals can also call (800) 228-9290 before Friday January 25th to get the special rate ($149 flat single/double),  after which time prevailing rates may apply.

Of course, there are a lot of other hotels in downtown L.A.

I am pretty sure that all Arnold hotels in downtown Columbus are sold out as of now, but you can still get deals in outskirt hotels all over the city, if you have a car to get to the convention center and Veteran's Auditorium.

I also know that within the week of the Arnold Classic, some people cancel their rooms, and a few open up, so always call and ask the hotels on that.  I got lucky one year when that occurred at the Hyatt.
