yeah, he guest posed at the 2006 gulfcoast championships in N. Ft. Myers - Aug 19 was the date, I think. I took a lot of pics. Vic M guest posed there, there year before. I reviewed both shows and posted pics and video clips here on getbig.

I asked Jumbo to give me anything EXCEPT a classic thumbs-up pic. He froze, then extended his hand and proceeded to do a thumbs=up pose, without the thumb. So it was a start!

I attend any bodybuilding shows in the area, and I am driving to the PBW Tampa Classic in August. But there just aren't many good bodybuilding shows in my area. There are quite a few powerlifting meets, and I always go to those. But half the population is retired here, and most of the rest are families... not many gyms, very few compettive BBers, and one show a year in the tri-county area, and it was cancelled in 2007

If anyone can find palumbo competition pics, it might give us a better idea.

I have no idea if he wears shoe lifts. He was wide as hell in person. I'm not dissing him at all. Very nice guy and chatted a bit. But I'm 5'10, and i"m telling you, I was 3 inches taller, easily. I don't know if he wears shoe lifts, I don't know, maybe he was just slouching. All I can say is what I saw. We stood in line for the bathroom together and all I could think of was, Wow... he's shorter than I thought.

Dave and I both have the same brand and style shoe from nike id website and the only thing in his shoe is the orthodics pads that help the arch in your foot

Just to clear things up:

Dave was 5'6 and the fake GH made him 5'8. The lifts in his shoes make him 5'10. But when 'The Boss' is around, he's about 3 feet tall and usually on his knees.
