It's called perjury. Had she told the truth in the first place, she would have lost her medals (as she did anyway), but wouldn't have done any prison time.

That said, I don't think that she deserves prison time. If they have to give her any punishment, give her house arrest with an ankle monitor.

no ,,she deserve prison time for bringing shame to america,,she deserve it because in 2000 everyone thought beside me and milos and her obese hubby that she was clean ,,not natural but clean,,,and the fact that everyone thought that she was clean and now they face reaility = prison time justified,,

HA! So then all the sports figures that they have caught lying about being "clean and natural" should get prison time? With that logic, the prisons are going to be even more overfilled than they already are. The pro baseball players alone will call for a new prison.

PERJURY must be treated seriously and penalized harshly.

th epoint is not who does and who dont ,,,they all do ,,,the issue is 5 super duper shiny medals in olympic games as result of hormones and not of quality of athlete ,,not to forget its the ones who do the millions out of hormones and lie about it who need to sit in prison ,,,it has nothing to do to who use or not ,,it has to do with who benefited the most out of the lies,,in this case this girl life is over in sports and in money,,she is pretty much poor and convicted fellon that will sit in 3 months for a good reason
