Author Topic: Heath vs. Wolf. . . who will be the bridesmaid? (Read 4984 times)

Now that the official era of Heath vs. Wolf is about to begin who do you guys think will be the bridesmaid? Will Wolf be Coleman and Heath Levronne? Or maybe the other way around? Will they each beat each other or will one have dominance? Let the predictions begin!!

p.s. lets not make this a "truce" thread. A couple of comments from each poster is probably good

Heath might have the upper-hand in the long run, his structure keeps filling out more and more...

on the other-hand... we have seen Wolf own almost everyone on the Olympia stage this year and get a well deserved...(if not he should have place higher), 5th place

Phil has yet to place at the Olympia...and Wolf won't be back until Olympia 2008...i know he will bring some crazy improvements!

Phil's time to impress is now...if he lines up a Victory at the Ironman...top 3 in the ASC or possibly a win there too...then come olympia time...Jay is going to have to fight off Victor, Wolf, and Heath...

i still think at the present moment Victor is the guy who should be wearing the crown of MR.O
and Dennis and Phil can be the new fore-runners for the title in 2008...and on...

Victor Has the best chance i think thus far...all depending on how he looks next to Heath at the ASC, we've already seen him place 2nd at the Olympia to a 5th place Wolf, but now with Heath in the mix, it will be nice to see how he measures up...

in closing...Wolf will be back bigger and better, and i don't even care who wins the Olympia in 2008...just wanna see who wins between Wolf and Heath!!!!!

Heath looks amazing in the new pics but he's not standing next to anyone. Wolf looked huge on the Olympia stage against the biggest guys around. I give Heath the edge in muscle quality IF he can keep that size when he dries out, but he does look fucking freaky now. He seems to be one of the few, like Ronnie, that took a big leap in size and it was quality muscle. Most guys that blow up are just bigger,less defined versions of themselves. We will have to see if Wolf is still improving as well. How's that for inconclusive?

I have a feeling this is how most everyone is thinking. . . after seeing those new pics of Heath and watching the improvements Wolf made last year it's getting pretty exciting. . . been a while since I've been this intrigued about the upcoming bodybuilding "season"!!

I would take Heath over Wolf anyday - when you look at Wolf's physique in comparision you see too many weak spots that Heath would best him in.

his mid section looked soft last year..we have never seen him dry to the bone..wolf and heath should beat him

Love the new Heath pics. AWESOME is an understatement.

BUT, that is him NOW. Things can go wrong bt now and the 08 olympia. That shape versus a Wolfe? HMM...Wolfe has a better package due to legs period. Heath needs to bring up his wheels.

Side note-->Cutler will NOT go away easily. This dude trains as hard, if not harder than anyone and is 110% committed to his game. Second guessing him is ignorant.

my point is is that one bad showing doesn't mean you should count him out.

Cutler's best, which is long gone, is not as good as Wolf or Heath. They carry quality muscle and have great frames. Cutler looks like an uncooked chicken

Wolf has a much larger frame and will always dwarf Heath so I think it all depends on who has the best conditioning and Wolf has been shredded at every show since he was an amateur, Heath seems to be having a little trouble as he has gotten bigger..

This is probably not the best comparison but the best
I have seen personally. I have seen seperately Bertil
Fox and Lee Haney in their prime. Bertil Fox was more impressive
by himself. He had that awe factor and his arms were as big as his head.
Put him against Haney onstage though and we all know who dominated
with their structure. I think Heath will be too narrow (clavicly) to stand
against Wolf in the long run. Once Wolf totally fills out, I think he will dominate.

agreed. wolf has a bigger frame with wider clavicles... plus he is taller.. next to wolf heath will appear narrow

I'm tempted to actually stop by the university bookstore and pick up the most recent copy of MD and check out the coverage on Wolf (my university picks up two copies a month, neither of which usually sell). Should I buy it?

Heath looks incredible, but so far we have only seen pics of just himself, not next to anyone. Wolf is one of the biggest and widest guys in bodybuilding right now. Those two next to each other will be very interesting. Either way, they both look incredible, and both have the type of physiques that bodybuilding needs.

I think my monthly spending on myself is up to $30 so far. I admit I'm taking it a little too far when I sometimes will not spend enough on food. Food is the only thing I want to have a very liberal budget for since it ties directly to my bodybuilding goals.

My school picks up two copies of MD and usually neither sell.
