Now you're changing your strategy when losing from first making illogical comments like, "it's just not the same, it's different," to now acknowledging that I win with a sarcastic tone even though logically I've proven my point and therefore acknowledgements of that do not even need to be sarcastic.
I disagree. I don't think you've proven much of anything, except make some odd self-justifications for your 'sports memorabilia' collecting, or is it item. The logic you use has a very tenuous chain of rigor, but I think that is really not your point, is it? You know, I came on at the beginning of this thread having a little fun, making some smartass posts as I usually do, but I see now you take this very seriously. It's not enough that you are seen to be right but that everybody else must be seen to be wrong. It's a trait common to a few posters on this board and they are quite rightly called on it. Maybe I'm the slow learner around here, but you've certainly convinced me that I had you all wrong. I'll certainly make sure to give you a wide berth in future. There's only so many ownings my fragile ego can take. As MOS aptly noted "I've my health to think of."
/something for you to ponder as i sign off. collectibles must have a resale value to fit any definition of the term. if they hold intrinsic value only for the buyer they are but keepsakes. however, sometimes, that is all that is needed to provide satisfaction.
