I think it is more prevelent now than we realize. Sure the old time docs do not understand the medical value behind HRT but the new crop coming in will!

I had a medical plan that actually paid for 85% of my scripts. Was getting the cream for $30 a bottle. There are a lot of docs here in Az that know what they are doing in regards to HRT. One has a pharmacy attached to his practice. You walk out of his office, into the pharmacy and pick your shit up! Most success I have had is with Sports Docs. They still are physicians but they get it...

We need to fight for our right to counter ANDROPAUSE DAMMIT!!  :D

I agree that new physicians will understand the value of HRT.

Why didn't you just have your doc prescribe you injectible testosterone instead of the cream?

I'm not sure most insurance companies would let you pick a sports doc as your provider.....

Sure insurance companies will let you pick a sports doc. They are regular physicians as well. Three different ones took my insurance.

You know, the cream was my first use of any real test. It got me feeling good again but probably just enough to be in the low range. I then took my doses into my own hands and they would not script that big amount. Once my new plan kicks in, I will be going to a doc who has the best HRT gig in town!  :D
