Who's gonna be Prez?

I've been off the ball with all this shite recently.

Technically, who is most likely to be put on the pedestal from each party?

I doubt he'll win anything in the south. Comes Florida and after, it'll be a downward slope I think.

Don't forget about Gulianni either. His startegy was to skip the first primaries and comeback in strength in NJ, FL and all other east coast states where he has a better chance than Romney and Huck-a-bee.

Totally up in the air.  No clear frontrunner in either party.  I have no idea who I'm voting for (although it won't be Hillary or Obama).

Right, but what is it that makes you not want to vote for Obama?

Not criticising you I just want some info that's all.

Among other reasons, I don't think he really brings anything new to the table.  He's an excellent speaker.  I listened to a speech he recently gave in South Carolina.  When I tried to analyze what he really had to say, it was this:  we will divide the country into the "wealthy" vs. everyone else; we will attack the "corporations"; we will tax you to kingdom come; we will spend whatever it takes to ensure everyone has a chance to be successful--essentially socialism, etc., etc.  There wasn't much substance to his speech.  He is Gore, Kerry, Ted Kennedy, etc., except he gives a better speech and looks a little different.

Sums it up. Plus he has zero foreign policy vision or experience when everybody says "make America more likeable" is a priority.

Ok fair enough, seems to be a guy with good intentions; but not logical solutions.

Exactly. We need more than "intentions" right now.

What about McCain?

I like McCain.  My main problem with him early on was he looked his age.  Came across as a tired old man.  I've started to view him in a little different light, particularly after the South Carolina debate.  He's probably the most competent man in the race at this point.

I heard a lot of conservatives bashing him recently.  He's apparently not conservative enough, sort of like Huckabee.

McCain is not a Conservative,  not at all.

voted against the Bush tax cuts

tried to push the McCain/Kennedy Amnesty "Shamnesty"  down our throats, it failed, then a few weeks later,  they tried again, and failed.

If McCain is the Republican, many Conservatives will sit out the main election.

Democrat winner ?  Obama

Republican winner ?   I don't think anyone will know until Super-Tuesday.       hopefully it will be Ron Paul   :)

If Republicans don't watch out, they're going to end up with Romney as their nominee.   :-\

I'm gonna reach out and say it's going to be Obama vs Romney.

I don't like McCain at all.  Hell, the McCain-Kennedy Bill alone should disqualify McCain as being the nominee...in addition to his angry attitude and waddling turkey-neck.

On the other hand, Obama's pencil neck and bird chest should disqualify him too.

No, that ended up to be spin.

Rudy had 130 events in New Hampshire.

He didn't plan on skipping it.  When he polled poorly, he backed out.  First iowa, saying NH was more important.  Then NH, saying Florida matters most.

He has done well in every primary/caucus so far.  He's very much in contention.  I think he can beat both Obama and Hillary.

Right now, he's the prohibitive favorite to win the nomination.

If that happens, whoa baby, this country is going to be in for a wake-up call of epic proportions.
