MD steps up for 2008 NPC JR USA

Muscular Development Magazine has thrown its support behind the 2008 NPC JR USA.

Not only have they stepped up as "TITLE" sponsor, they have a agreed to do a full Feature Profile on the
mens bb "OVERALL" winner, in MD Magazine.

Hopefully this will lend some more credibility to the JR USA and give some top amatuer athletes a chance for
some well deserved press.

MD will be covering the entire event @ www.musculardevelopment. com as well as the magazine.

Tim, what has happened is that to many of the male bb's think they are ready to go straight to USA's or National's and they are skipping the JR shows.
The Jr Nat's will still draw some top competitors trying to get some steam going in to the USA's.
However, the JR USA does not feed directly into a "pro qualifier".

Not to give away my age but back in the day you didn't dare go to USA's or Nat's without stopping off @ the JR shows first.
Thought being if you couldn't place top 1 or 2 at the JR shows you weren't going to fair well at the higher level.

So, hopefully some of these cats that are placing out of the top 15 or even 10 thru 15 might want to test the waters
@ the JR shows before making the plunge into a "pro qualifier"

Also with MD aboard some bb's might see the press in a major magazine as a reason to stop off in Charleston before they trek out to Vegas or Atlanta.

there was a time where the Jr Nat and Jr USA received major coverage in all the mags.  But then there was a time where the mags covered regional and major local shows too.
