Fedor and Randy did a commercial for Affliction clothing the other day. It looks like this fight is going to happen. By the look on Fedor's face, I don't think he takes Randy very seriously. You can also tell Randy is off the GH.

What do you mean by that? You think because one anonymous message board poster thinks that Couture is off GH or whatever that the MMA community will use that as an excuse if he loses?

If it is not UFC rules, I give it to Fedor probably. What organization is putting it on? Should be the MMA equivalent to Mayweather-Delahoya.

I give it to Fedor under UFC rules as well. Couture is incredibly overrated.

I agree that Sylvia sucks. I think that Couture may be a bit overrated, due to the fact that he was washed up and then came back and only beat Gonzaga  and Slyvia and is now considered a God pretty much. Still it will be an interesting fight, better than any HW fight in the UFC in years imo.

Yeah, outside of Fedor/Barnett it's about the only HW fight that's worth talking about. That division badly needs an infusion of new blood.

I just find it funny how Couture went from the guy that got KO'd by Liddell twice in 05 and 06 to some sort of God that transcended all HW fighters because he beat two mediocre UFC HW's at 44.

It does seem almost laughable now, but at the time Liddell was seen as unstoppable. Besides MMAmath doesn't make any sense. I just hope whoever puts on the fight does it in the US so we can watch it live on PPV rather than on the net at 11 in the morning. Also, having a few more good fights on the card would be nice.

Fedor is with M-1 (not exclusively) but Randy did do an interview during the M-1 show stating that he wanted the fight sometime in October so I would only assume it's an M-1 venture.

Oh yeah, why did Affliction make an ad for their clothes with two half naked guys in it?  They could have stared down in their shirts at least.  What do the Fedor affliction shirts look like anyways?
