Having followed bodybuilding for over 20 years and watching what it has evolved into, I'm starting to view it as the ultimate chemical science project . Amazing that people, not really knowing or caring what the long term effects of combining massive doses of Growth Hormone, Steroids, Insulin, thyroid drugs, etc, are willing to use themselves as experimental test subjects. If some of the jaws and foreheads continue to grow, they will truly resemble Cro-Magnon men. (Being a film maker, it would be cool to do a sci-fi movie of a guy who transforms into a GH/steroid mutant! Maybe use Kovacs as the lead.) Taking some d-bol and Primo in Arnold's day was understandable, but today's guys are venturing into uncharted territories. Should they be admired for their courage to risk everything for a title, or are they to be pitied for their stupidity. At least with ball players and pro athletes, they're making millions of dollars. Only a handful of bodybuilders make any real money. What do you think?
