The muscle shark
« on: January 20, 2008, 09:04:33 AM »
did anybody else think that shawn sherk had a bit of a meltdown last night?  i mean fuck, right after the fight he stormed into the ring, said bj needs to beat him to be the real champ, then said he had no respect for bj...by no means am i a bj fan, but fuck to call him out right after he won his fight, i thought it was a bit out of line...and oh yeah, did anybody else think sherk looked a bit deflated?  i guess he won't be able to bulk up off of deca and fight at 155, he may be fucked...last time i checked ur body doesn't produce deca, shawn sherk needs to get the fuck over himself and stop acting like roger clemens and just admit he made a mistake, truth is, if he just apologized from the get go, we would have forgiven him

I agree with you about Sherk. He did come across as an asshole. By him doing that it will make his fight with BJ more interesting though. A little bad blood is good for a title fight.

Upon thinking about it more....

i think the whole "deadmeat" thing was staged.  UFC tells Penn to call him out and tells Sherk to go up into the ring.  It's what sells tickets.

Did you see any other UFC fighters in England really?  HMMM...Sherk was there?  I wonder why?

I wonder if he'll change his nickname from the Muscle Shark to something else?  Every time someone states his nickname, it's like an embarrassing reminder that he got popped

yeah i think it was staged too thats how they do it in the ufc they want that bad blood stuff cause it sells tickets

still think sherk and penn should be a good fight, but im not sure i can take all the talk leading up to it they gonna milk that for months before it finally go down...

oh no doubt.

I just wonder how Sherk will perform being off gear...    he's definitely got talent, but being on in a fight adds so much..

I got news for you guys.  Sherk will be on as much gear as he was before, only this time there won't be any mistakes on passing the test.  Hope that helps.

You think he would risk his career by being on and taking a chance dodging a test?

Don't they do out of competition tests as well?

Not saying he can't work his way around it if he really wants: GH, small doses, designer roids, ...

I know he tested positive and that the LVGC had a bit of a weak case as there was a loss of custody on his sample (or so i have read)...

but i'm just not sure he actually "juiced."  I mean the dude couldn't possibly afford to test every supplement he takes.  I just remember a few years ago a bunch of australian athletes got popped because there were actual roids in their "wonder supplement"... mix that with the possiblility that he may be a genetic freak... who knows?

no one wastes as much money as he did in legal fees unless he's using designer gear (and he tested positive for nandrolone? which is a joke because it stays in your system for a year and a half?) or not juicing

Come on man.  What fantasy land are you living in?  Most of these guys are drug sponges.  Pain killers, anabolic steroids, diuretics, GH, you name it.
