looks circa 1993, upper body looks incredible but some of the most pusssified "training" i've ever seen.

. But his arrogance , "Hollywood" actions, only back up the fact that wasn't used to his success as Shawn, others, and himself had said. He was just some 27 yr old who had just won 4 pro shows, including the Arnold Classic, had a big fat contract from Weider and just bought a house

He made a comment on his "Mass Construction" about the light weights he was using in "Hardbody", which that video clip is from. Granted it was a week out from the Olympia, his first O, so I guess Glass to him to just train lightly. Glass used to tell him to not train so heavy, ( he used to train with Chris Cormier)...

Flex back in the day probably could, he kept up with Chris, not the Flex now, then again, those two probably will not go down as legends in the game as Flex will.

then put those two at their prime standing on stage with wheeler at his.

think pushing all that weight will help them build a better physique than wheeler's?

not a chance.

so, in essence, who cares how much you lift in the gym. on stage is where you win or lose.

a bad comparison at best.

I'm pretty sure Flex was only training like that for the camera and having a bit of a laugh at their expense - there's no way he built a physique like that training so half-heartedly all the time.

Check him out in the BFTO videos - he trains hard there.

Arrogant SOB though.
