Again, the flaw in your reasoning is that laws are automatically moral.  If you break the law of the land, you go to jail.  That's not to say that action is just.

Nope, I said the charges wouldn't stick or so many charges were laid because they wanted to make sure he got convicted with something.  I don't think he will necessarily walk away from this, but that it isn't as big of a deal as the $180,000 bail and nine charges make it out to be.
