Why do you guys post on a bodybuilding forum when you hate bodybuilders?

I'm really confused. I see all these posts by people saying how bodybuilding is "gayer than respect for women" and that bodybuilders are just bathroom material for old gay men. Most of you talk about bodybuilders as people that are just drug using homo's, yet you aspire to look like them. So what's the deal here? Jealousy? Envy?

We all lift weights, but it's mostly the IFBB and the "pros" and the seedy "industry" we have no respect for....  and no one here aspires to look like them.  We're fine with our fellow lifters and everyday bodybuilders.

I disagree. Bodybuilding fans are the worst fans out there when it comes to this sort of thing. I can't think of anything else where personal life as well as the compition equate to equal importance. It shouldn't but the fans make it that way. Other sports, they could care less...let those athletes be the lunatic fruitcakes many of them are...let them beat there wives smoke crack, whatever...as long as they score touchdowns and hit homeruns, no one cares.

Of course throw in the steroid factor and this changes everything.
