It's a shame that so many of you take enjoyment in watching King's descent into mediocrity.

Shame on you.

I understand that androgen receptors lose their affinity as time goes on, so I understand how some bodyparts can atrophy.

My question is his conditioning.  With all of the drug technology that is available, his work ethic (when he lived in DC, he trained at Tyson's Gold's and I can tell you he trained like a madman, that's not likely an issue), and his knowledge; why can't he get back into the condition that he displayed back in 2001?  I wouldn't think it's age yet.

Opinions?

I'm not enjoying anything.  I don't dislike him, he was always nice to me.  I'm just pointing out the fact that he doesn't have the tools to place top 5 in that lineup.

Bodybuilding isn't boxing, where the weathered old fighter and score a last round knockout (George Foreman).  It isn't football, where a gutsy, last-minute drive by an aging backup (Todd Collins) can win a game.  And it isn't the movies where determination conquors all (every Stallone, Van Damme & Arnold film from the 80s).

In bodybuilding, it's about your genetics, receptor affinity and the degree to which you have impacted your body's ability to utilize "supplements".

When you consider those things, King will NOT place top 3 at the IM.

There's no joy or malice in that statement.  Only fact.

The truth in incapable of being malicious.

In pro bodybuilding, maybe the top 10 in the entire sport are able to earn a reasonable living and are a factor in contests.

According to Ron's rankings off of Getbig's main page, King Kamali is currently #42.  And that's probably generous, considering some of the names listed under him.

He needs to take his bloated steaming pile-of-shit physique and retire already.

Yes, like I said, you can take it to the bank.  Top 3 finish at the Iron 08.  Those jackasses on the forums can laugh all they wish. I'm bigger, and I'm leaner, than ever.  I'll easily match 01 conditioning.  They hate cause that's all they know.  They'll never take the stage.  So yes, you take the bet.  Win some money and buy your girl something nice ;)

Just how fuccking delusional is this clown??  Even Ron Avidan won't put him in the top 5, let alone the top three, and he's as big a King booster as they come.  After glancing at the Ironman competitor list, I have him 9th AT BEST, and more likely 14th or worse if any of the names I've never heard of on the list are any good at all.

i'm not hating.  i'm debating how much $ to bet this douchehat from MD on the outcome.  Kid says he'll be outta the top 5.  I say that's easy money.  he wants to do 50 bucks.  I told him why not make it 100!

People forget these pics are taken from the Montreal last year where he placed 3rd.. This is only a week after a bad placing at the Europa...

He deserves some credit for that..

see, if he can get 3rd at an international show like the montreal, he'll easily crack top 5 at a local cali show like the Ironman.

I put $200 down for king to take top 5.  Easy money, baby.
