Canadian Pro Bodybuilders past & present
« on: January 22, 2008, 12:31:21 PM »
"FREAKY" FREDDY
was his nickname... Freddy was his first name.
apparently from Nigerian descent and related to Vic Richards. (cousin apparently)

did the Canadian Nationals and was apparently UN-TOUCHABLE.
the year Rudy Solimon turned pro...98,or 99 i believe.

apparently got busted shortly after his pro-win and was never heard of...
his last name is hard to remember...but if you mention it im sure i'd recognize it...
anyone have pics or new on this guy? was before i was into bodybuilding...i was 12-13 yrs old.  :P

Peace

antwii, or something like that. got his pro card in Edmonton Alberta in 1999. i was in that class with him (way in the back by the curtains. haha) he was freaky but absolutely couldn't stand dieting or contest prep.

i agree with you Stavs'

im guessing he was just amazing in that particular lineup in 99'...ah well
just people in the Canadian circuit talk about him from time to time...always wondered what he looked like since i never saw him myself...
too bad there's only 1 pic of him throughout the whole net, and he has wicked Gyno in it...doesn't do him justice.

Yeah I know what you mean, I keep hearing about guys who looked like fucking monsters at the canadian nationals in the 80's - 90's but not of them did shit in the pros so maybe they were not that great after all

we still had André Charette here in quebec who competed at the Olympia in 93
he looked fucking incredible and still is in great shape

I think the best guy to have won the Canadian Nationals is Fouad Abiad

Another Canadian I use to see at my gym was a guy by the name of Erik Alstrup.  See if you can find any info on him.

Yeah, he def has some serious potential.  I actually thought he looked better the year before he won his card though.  At least in pictures.

im curious to see what Lou Joseph can do.

Fouad at his all-time best would have to be at the 2007 MTL PRO classic.
5th place and very polished!

Yeah from what I saw he looked crazy.  Sick side chest.

I thought Fouad held his own pretty well on a pro stage.  I forget if I saw his name on the ironman list or not.

I want to see McGrath get up there again.  He's working with a guy from my city apparently so I'm looking forward to seeing the changes.

I think he did the ironman or something last year but only made it through the prejudging and never came back for the night show.  Not too sure what the deal with him and Milos is.  Hell, I dont' even know where Frank is living.  I think he's still in Canada.
