Bodybuilding Entertainment Value...
« on: January 25, 2008, 03:18:51 AM »
It's been a while since I started a thread on the forum. lol.

One thing I've been thinking of in the past year is the entertainment value of bodybuilding (and other strength sports).

Do you find the shows worth the money for the entertainment you get out of it? What about other places in comparison? (like websites, magazines, videos etc..)

Would like to hear your thoughts on that.

I'd love to post a poll on this... but I dunno how on this forum.

It's probably worth going if you enjoy watching this.

i do like to watch the shows, but i also find it just as good to read about them in the mag's, sometimes you dont even need to watch it and you can get a pretty good overview in the mags....
and yes it is a compitition but it also has some entertainment value, but i would like to see a bit more, not sure how they are going to do that though... just my thoughts

The two shows that I went to hear in NZ last year which were the NZFBB Auckland Champs in Auckland also the NABBA South Island . I thought they had a good entertainment value.

Still have to pay to watch live like any sport competition. So, is it worth paying or not?  :P

Come on..it's men in panties dancing and straining for other men to whistle and cheer. You can't take it seriously..bodybuilders are here to be laughed at for the jokes they are.

They are clowns..to amuse us.

tennis, rugby, soccer, polevaulting, sprinting, etc etc r all competitions, yet millions of ppl find these sports entertaining to watch for whatever reason.  bbing is no different, it just appeals to a lesser fanbase.

higher the entertainment value, the more money, the higher calibre of athlete.

pro sport either entertains or it dies.
