I never knew until I saw this pic that Nasser had such a
small waist at one time. I think bodybuilders starting in the 90's
sometime tried to put on size too quickly. This gained them
faster sucess but a shorter carreer. This effect also probably
resulted in us never being able to see them at their full potential.
The reason being the fast growth usually came with an expanded stomach
moreso than if they had gained the mass at a slower rate.
(Not to say Nasser didn't have incredible abs @ a heavier weight)
Could you imagine Nasser @ 280 with a stomach 2 inches smaller
than at his peak. I think it would have been possible but the process
may have taken a couple of years longer.
JP Fux is probably the best example of this. He had tons of potential
but gained about 30 pounds of muscle in one year. His stomach was never the same.
I believe Ronnie made the same mistake. He looked awesome @ 257 and probably
would have looked better trying to put on 3-5 pounds a year with even greater conditioning.

1. Nasser with probably a 29-30 inch waist
2. Ronnie @ 257 with a small waist.

i dont know or care. all i can look at is nasser. this is truly the perfect physique but even when he put on mass he keep the symmetry and beauty of his body. Always the best abs.

it is really a disgrace he was not the Mr Olympia. If Yates the criminal convict and former racist had any honor he would publicly state that Nasser El Sonbaty deserved the Sandow.

Sharma takes the cake as the most radical member of Team Gasser. This guy is the classic example of an uneducated angry muslim male. At least Bigbobs makes his assertions in a more civilized manner without resorting to name calling.  On some of the other threads, Sharma's  posts on Yates were so virulent I couldnt help but LOL. Classic - calling someone a racist while making racist remarks yourself. It's surprisng he didnt get a timeout or even a ban for his remarks.

He then goes on to state that he wishes he was Nasser. Time to start working on your own life boy. At least bigbobs is comfortable with his life without wishing he was  someone else.

In every team there usually is one angry radical. He doesnt possess any of the calm/collected qualities of the leader but makes up for it by taking blind zealotism and hatred to a whole new level. Look out bobs- you've got someone who loves nasser more than you.

I don't understand the big deal with buying the used clothes. People have pictures on the wall of their bodybuilding idols to get a bit more intensity in their workouts. Wearing something worn by  huge Nasser does the same thing. It's only people who are themselves that way inclined that think it is gay.

No. Not at all sarcastic. No one can deny that Nasser is very handsome and his body is perfect in this photograph. He looks like a Greek or Roman God.

And I wish I was Nasser El Sonbaty - the uncrowned Mr Olympia and greatest ever Arnold Classic winner - believe me I do. Sadly I am not him.
