It's the nature of the beast, being a "guru" and experimenting with drugs. You don't know if your hunch is correct until you try it. There is not going to be no "real study" in this field. Of course he wasn't going to be right a lot of the time.
That was my point.
He had alot of theories, but many of them were simply speculation..........and turned out to be wrong.
He was intelligent, just enough to get himself in to trouble.
I think, at times, his intelligence was clouded by impulsivenss, rash decision-making......
He was his own guinea pig, after all, and that's not the smartest way to go about doing experiments.
It probably contributed to his premature death.
