Went from being the favorite to win the whole election, to dropping out today before losing his home state.

Anywhere he campaigned, his numbers dropped.

Was it his use of fearmongering?  Was it when the media finally "called him out" for using 911 like his middle name?  Or was it something else?

Rudy being Pro-Choice, against the right to own a gun, and Pro-gay marriage, he never really had a chance in the early States, such as South Carolina, and Iowa.  So his only chance was hoping that come Florida, their was not a true front runner, then he could win Florida, then go on to super Tuesday with a win.

Also Rudy and McCain basically share a few of the same voters, ( not the true conservatives )  more moderate, and with McCain getting a few wins early,  many of the Rudy backers switched to McCain

Some people said it was a bad plan,  but the truth is, it was his only plan, as South Carolina and Iowa would have never gone his way (with Rudy being pro-choice, and against the right to own a gun )

He is not popular outside of NY.   He also comes across as "self promoting & sanctimonious".  He is a Legend in his own mind.....
