Why does Golds charge $ 10 to replace your membership beep thingy!?

they're on a fuccking tear at my Gold's enforcing the "rules", so far in the last week they've yelled at people for cursing, talking too loud, having a gym bag on the gym floor, drinking coffee in the gym and using chalk.

the damn things break every few months..

Every few months?  I joined Va Beach Gold's in 2004 and even after I got kicked out, I kept the yeytag so I could use other Gold's when I traveled.  anyway, I just got rid of it when I joined the Gold's in Arlington, so I had it for almost 4 years.

i dont mean they snap in half mate..the loop that holds it to my keychain always breaks and then its annoying to have to remember to take the damn thing with ya..
