I read in his MD column that he had a heart attack. Anyone know how old he is?

they put a stent in his heart. his troponin levels were insanely high due to stress. he was in the hospital for 4 days.

scary. he looks to be in incredible shape.

I heard about it, but it was mild. I saw him last Satuday at the American Gladiator tryouts at Gold's Venice, and he was there, talking, training and having a good time. Looked fine to me.

Yeah with a stent is almost an outpatient procedure. No more cutting into the chest. Its good they caught it in time before it clogged completely..

I had a stent put in Monday. You can get back to your routine in most cases in a matter of days.

Could you elaborate on the relationship of the elevated troponin levels and stress?

If you only have a cardiac catheterization, you will go home same day.

If they see that there is a blockage(s), they will stent you and likely keep you overnite for observation.

That's what they did with me.

No, you are not a dick. Thanks, my friend, I already feel better...but I must say, when there is a problem with the heart (Vs other, more common injuries...breaks, sprains, tears)...it scares shit out of you.

I think Glass won his class in either the USA or Nationals in the early 80's, when they first started NPC...another of his contemporaries who was of similar build was Chuck Williams..

Charles was born in 1955. Tim would probably know the exact date or check www.musclememory.com and see if its listed (and for other great info). He said on PBW that he works from 6AM to 10PM or something equally ridiculous I believe. It's not a surprise that this would happen in light of his workload.

Yes, from 1982 to 1990 I used them in cycles.

Idiopathic ventricular dysfunction is one of my dx's...the pressure in these champbers is double what it should be.
