As far as arnold with mcain.    All hes left with is the "aging albino-monkey"...so he's in a corner i guess.
If arnold was a true reaganite maybe he could go for a ron paul....

Arnold knows that this is as far as he is going to go. There will never be a Senate seat for him.

He knows he can't run for president.

Also, since he was caught cheating on Maria, well, she has him by the balls. She is basically the Governor of the state of California.

Even though Hillary is the Democratic frontrunner, if Mitt were to get the Republican nomination, that would give the Democratic challenger a big boost.

That boost might be offset if Nader runs.

But you're right, Tre. Independants would vote for McCain over Clinton and Obama. This is why conservatives seem to be backing McCain over Romney even though Romney is the actual conservative...especiall y when compared to McCain.
