Mir looking good and the knee seems fully recovered. I think Mir has the physical tools to defeat Lesnar but I sense a mental weakness. I'm not sure he believes he can win.

Lesnar looking like a beast on the takedowns and GNP but looking like a robot on his feet throwing punches. Boxing is not something one can become competent at in 12 months and it shows. Lesnar's biggest edge is his mental toughness/confidence.

Bottom Line: Mir's only chance to win is to keep the fight on their feet and KO Lesnar with a punch or high kick. A single counter-punch to the face from the 260 lb Mir should be enough to put Lesnar down and out. If Lesnar even thinks about boxing, he's dumber than he looks. Mir will get a few chances but if he swings and misses badly, Lesnar will dump him on his back and Mir won't be able to do anything with Lesnar on top. Lesnar is too powerful, too quick, and too smart to get submitted. Lesnar by GNP R1.

I dont think Lesnar is too smart to get submitted but his strength will be a key factor. He's pretty quick for someone his size.
I like Mir but i was disappointed when he dominated Wes Sims but couldnt even pull off a submission. Frank's cardio is his biggest weakness.

It'll be an interesting match.

I predict Lesnar will win. He has the power over Mir. He has ground skills and he has agility for someone of his size. His GNP is awesome. Unless he gets hit with some punches that do damage enough to knock him to the ground from being dazed I don't see Mir hurting him much. But who knows, but I like Lesnar.

based on him being a collegiate wrestling champion, much stronger than mir, better cardio than mir, plus he fucked ur nasty ass mom, so anyone that can deal with that sort of pain ain't gonna tap from a lil arm bar

Lesnar wins for a variety of reasons:

a) he's Dana's golden boy. A pure money maker. (not saying the match is fixed, but........)
b) won't have the ring jitters as most new fighters display. Brock loves the starlight as he did in the WWE.
c) Lesnar is one big, strong dude. Yes strength isn't the game, but it sure is handy trying to weasle outta leg locks and arm bars.
d)Mir is notably scared (for lack of a better word) as i would be too.

Lesnar's cardio is just don't know about though...what if this (as may very well happen) goes to a round 2?

ive betted on mir, but that's probably my biggest concern... let's just say if there's a gnp situation i bet the ref stoppage might come very quickly in favor of brock...

This is a hard fight to call. If Mir shows up confident and capable, he should win with ease. If he loses this fight in his mind before it starts, then he has no chance.

Watching the UFC Countdown last night on Spike, I realized that Mir still has concerns over his leg. He wraps it during practice. Not a good sign. I can see him reinjured during the fight and having it stopped.

Either way, I'm sticking with my prediction: Mir armbar 1st round.

it's not like leg kicks are gonna be one of lesnars "feared weapons...

brocks gonna have enough trouble throwing hands for 3 minutes without all his bulk gassing him out to even think about leg kicks......

and its not like mir hasnt fought big guys before. he fought plenty of guys weighin 260-270 pounds.

I say Frank Mir will kill Brock Lesnar.

While Brock Lesnar may be a good college wrestler, he never was an incredible college wrestler, he didn't dominate.

What I've seen from his college days was a guy who got around a lot on his tremendous strength and physique, and less on his wrestling abilities.

Sorry, I think Lesnar will either be KNFO'd or tap out.

Mir has been looking surprisingly good from what I've seen.
