Don't wanna be a smart ass, but how good or bad can a turkey, ham, cheese and lettuce only sandwich can be?

It won't kill you once a month. And if you like it, go for it.

that's not bad at all for a cheat meal and it's actually excellent if you consider it "fast food" which i would.

get it on whole wheat and hold the cheese and any condiments. then its not a cheat meal but a solid bodybuilding meal...just double up on the trukey and lettuce.

lettuce is basically devoid of nutrients.

ice burg, yeah....  romaine is a little better. mostly add it in for the fullness and better protein digestion from the fiber.

insoluble fiber decreases transit time and can bind nutrients, making digestion less effective

wait...what do you mean to say? that vegetables make digestion less effective? ..the only nutrients i know of that fiber binds to is fat...and im pretty sure its only a small percentage and its only of saturated and trans fats. but i could be wrong on that.

If you calculate that into your daily target for protein/carbs/fat/calories and adjust the rest of your diet accordingly, eating one of those won't hurt much as long as you meet your numbers for the day.
