"John McCain has turned his controversial stand on Iraq into a campaign asset. "

How long is this going to work out for him ::)

He's Reaganish...with an emphasis on the 'ish' part.

McCain lost me when started bullshitting about tax cuts reducing our national debt.

I think he's going to lose a lot of people with his "more wars" talk.

McCain can't even keep his own campign from going into debt, so if he can't manage money ,does he really think he can manage a war or the country?  ::)

Action speaks volumes and so far he's proven shit.

probably thousands of americans and 'coalition partners' who will die trying to simply hold the seams together, tens of thousands of scum(a good thing), and hundreds of thousands of civilians caught in the middle of the two.

Unless we invade Iran on the ground, which nobody..nobody has said we're going to do, then it won't be like that. the nbext 20 years will see wars like the Phillipines and maybe Afghanistan..depends on Africa. Thing with africais, if we go in and train troops..they will fight..they have proven to be pretty good troops whn trained by European advisors. It makes our job easier

Hundreds of thousands of who? ::)

You can't be that dumb, please don't embarrass yourself that way.

Many times you are reminded of the HUNDREDS OF THOUSENDS of ordinary human beings that want nothing but peace in their lives but are dying or getting maimed or lose everything, yet you hardly ever acknowledge them and if you do its in the context of "it's a war and shit happens".

I'm just wondering, are you ever able to  step outside yourself long enough to look at the world through the eyes of another human being?

Are you talking about the same peace loving human beings that were being butchered and raped by Saddam and now are being killed by other peace loving Muslims through suicide bombers?

Are you looking at the world through their eyes?

Does that mean you too feel like women are property and have no rights?

Does sending retarded women with bombs strapped to them into a public place and blowing people sky high appeal to you?

::) Are you trying to jusitfy the negative results of America's involvment by comparing them to the worst of the worst?  You could have picked a more positive comparison. Your logic= Musilms blow up other Muslims so it's alright for America to kill innocent Muslims to get to the bad ones?

Let the Iraqi people deal with their own problems, their own way.

Reminder to you, America supported Saddam for years while he was the killing Kurds,  thank you.

One more person that thinks America is in Iraq to liberate the people. ::)

You live for the negative results. Nothing would please you more than to see the US topple.

From everything I've seen, we go out of our way to avoid civilian casualties. Name another Super Power that does that.

How many other countries will go to war and then try to build the country stronger than what it was? Japan is doing awesome right now.

You seem to make the US out as the only bad country in the world. Do you see what is going on in Africa? Do you care about those people?

Or do you keep them out of your mind because you can't blame the US for all the death over there?

Keying is not a meltdown little boy.
That being considerd a "meltdown" shows what a disgrace to manhood your generation has become.
A meltdown is a piece of stud up-side your head.
Exactly what would make the world a better place.

HH6, this is the concept that I think people have the toughest time getting their minds around...AQ is not a sovereignty like Russia, Iran, Turkey, etc.  So the conventional diplomacy that folks are looking for simply just cannot be applied in situations where AQ is involved.

Yeah..who will we blame if a nuke goes off...we'll just sit here with our thumbs up our asses. Obama will try to have a meeting..use diplomacy, until another nuke goes off....as far as seeing all this through the eyes of other people. U forget, I've been there. I've seen IED's and their aftermath, I've seen dead kids..I've also been to the orphanges full of little kids with no arms or legs because of Soviet era mines...or been to villages where the Taliban killed women and children because they got vaccinated by US doc's. I tryed real hard to put myself in their shoes..then I thought, well maybe if they didn't all belong to this ding bat religion things might get better. Again I tried, but after awhile..it just doesn't matter. We're doing the best we can over there, some buy into the program and some don't. This war isn't on TV for me, mybe u should enlist. It would give u a better perspective.
