WESLEY SNIPES found NOT GUILTY in Criminal Tax Case

I know a lot of people on message boards like to argue about the 861 issue. Seems Snipes fell for it too. He won't go to prison but he'll be broke, which is good news for BLADE fans:

Excused.  He will have to pay the back taxes.  He's probably spent all his money and now has to come up with 5 years worth of taxes.  On a side note, you have to be a fucking hack lawyer to lose a tax protester case.

He'll go broke because he was only acquitted of the more serious criminal charges - the IRS will still seize and put liens on everything he owns until he pays back the millions he owes them, and garnish any wages forthcoming to satisfy the debt.  They can also pursue the $$ owed in civil court.  The good news is, either way he's fucked.
