I need some free medical advice.  I think I may have the flu or something.  I very rarely get sick (I cant remember the last time), so this isn't "old hat" for me, even though it's likely no big deal.

I got up this morning and felt fine.  Around 9:00am I developed a dry, intermittent, painful cough. By 11:00 it had gotten worse, and I got a splitting headache and muscle aches.  By 12 noon I started feeling weak and shitty.  I went downhill from there, and by 5:00 I was feeling terrible, with all the above symptoms plus feeling hot and having heart palpitations.  I finally ate something around 6 had no appetite, and took my temp... it was 99.6.  I was also cold, and jacked my house temp up to 76.  I took my temp again at 10:00 and it was 101.8.  I feel really shitty,and took 400mg ibuprofen @ 10:05.

Do I need to go to the doctor tomorrow, or can I just wait this thing out?

I go to the Doctor on a reg basis and used to watch ER on TV, so I feel qualified to advise you

I would consder taking some Nyquill multi symptom night time and heading to bed after it makes ya drowsy.
Sleep a good long time and take in plenty of water. If your temp is not below 100.5 after tommorow go to the DOC!
