Who is stronger (Squadfather or Steele)?

I can squeeze out 315 for about 4-5 reps  (315 / 198 = 1.59)

so basically I can lift 1.59 times my bodyweight

Squad is about 240ish

240 * 1.59 = 381 for 4-5 reps...can he do that?

personally I think that my strength is average and nothing special.

yet as measured as a percentage of bodyweight I wonder if he could do 380+lbs for 5 reps

I train alone first thing in the AM (5:30)..old ladies and cardio people

not much motivation for cranking out the heavy weight...plus I gave up all supplement..feeling real weak these days

lol..I said 4-5 reps..don't kill me if the last 2 reps are not picture perfect..but I assure you that the first 3 are text book..
and yes a spotter is there..I never lift that heavy without a spotter

Squad...honestly, I never learn the proper form with deads and my grip is weak..I can do 405 for a couple before the bar slips out of my hand


on the Squat I suck..I usually do 315 on the smith machine. (hams touch calves)..on lazy days I use the hack squat

bodyweight percentage drives me crazy. by that metric a 150 pound guy who benches 300 is stronger than a 250 pound guy that benches 485. i ain't buyin' it.

I wish people would stop bringing bodyweight issues into it - strength has got very little to do with bodyweight - there are bigger heavier guys than me who are weaker than I am and there are also guys significantly lighter than me who are stronger.

This was actually proved to me this evening when my mother in law asked me to put a rubber cork back into an open wine bottle - my strength couldn't do it but my father-in-law then gave it a go and did it - he weighs 140lbs by the way compared to my 225.
