I think the ref threw him off stopping the fight because of the "shot to the back of the head"

even Mir didn't know why he was stopping it, lame, he turned into the shot and they dock Brock a point, no warning? He punished Mir while he could but he got caught and tapped.

Although this was the one fight I got wrong, I can't say I'm displeased with the outcome. This also shoots down the theory that the UFC is fixed. If ever there was a guy that the UFC wanted to see win, it's Brock.

absolutely, its not hard to imagine a scenario where they dont break for the hits to the back of the head and where they stop the fight claiming mir didnt intelligently defend himself.

good for the sport that none of that happend.
