Sad to say, I am a die hard Raider fan...ok, ok, quit laughing now! Born and raised in Nor Cal and a fan from the late '70's..

However, if Mr. Davis keeps pulling his shit, will adopt the Cards as my team  :-\  I think the Devils could beat the Cards at this point...

Can relate to the video scandal. Is a saying in the Raider locker room, "If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying!"  :D

Good luck to both tems! Just no blowout so we can all enjoy a good game for once rather than looking forward to the next great Super Bowl commercial

oh boy here we go again... give me just ONE advantage taping the opposing teams coach will give your team?

1)if the other teams coach isthat stupid to be using the same signs/symbols all the time, then thats on him
2) ALL TEAMS change their signs from quarter to quarter or at the half time, some teams have different color coded binders, and the QB has different color coded sheets... so actually taping the other teams coach wont do shit
3)it wasnt a live feed! so it didnt affect the outcome whatsoever
etc..

i love how these haters just try to use the word SPYGATE to make them feel better, well i got a word for you haters, SCAPEGOAT, cuz thats how you guys deal with your teams losing to the pats... just using the videotape as a scapegoat

No advantage if you figure taping the opposing teams final walkthru on Red Zone plays makes a difference right before the Super Bowl. Maybe why the Rams did not score that much with that high powered offense they had? Might be easier to stop somone if you know what they are running?

I know, it probably did not mean shit or give them an advantage but when you hear that kind of stuff, who knows what is really useful and what is not. Still have to execute the play regardless....

young blood...

"post a pic and tell me your lifts you tiny tit"...Squadfather

now back to Brady..if he wins this game how can he not be top 2 of all time?

and technically the Pats have won more games that the Fish did in 72

He would have to win with a 90 yard game winning drive with 2 minutes on the clock to be as good as Montana, but you can certainly make a case for him taking the number 2 spot from anyone else you happen to put there.

thats something no one will ever know for sure, wheteher it really had an effect or not..,  but i got a question for ya, how come the teams cant stop Brady even when he is going Empty Backfield w/ 5 Wideouts?  i mean its obvious hes gonna pass, and they still cant stop him... its all about execution...

Um, that is what I said in my final sentence, " still have to execute"

I grew up with Montana playing across the Bay from me. The position of quarterback today is played due to the way Joe played the game.
Not only Joe use the 2 minute drive, practically invented the way it was executed, but Joe Montana could do the 2 minute drive over and over and over again. Like the way Matt Damon said in "Rounders," during his final play with Teddy KGB (I'm paraphrasing, unfortunately)- "Teddy, I can sit here and take you all night, over and over again."

It has a lot to do with growing up watching him play, but for my money, Joe Montana is and always will be the best quarterback. :)

Your lack of football knowledge reveals that you are an idiot.  :D

I know you recently hopped on the Patriots bandwagon, but the NFL did not start up in 1998, junior. Let me guess, you became a fan the year before they won their first Super Bowl, right?  ::)

Careful, he lost a couple Super Bowls if I am not mistaken. Steelers and Dolphins, right?

Win those and maybe but the dude only has what, one ring?

In the modern era a QB is measured by the rings, unfortunatly. Otherwise, I could say Stabler was the best because the Raiders had the best winning percentage in the league for years until they get to AFC Championship game and had to deal with Pittsburgh and Miami, losing quite a bit of those games. Raiders went to 7 straight AFC Championship games at one point.

2 Rings, rook.  ;)
If any of the quarterbacks you idolize had to go up against the Steelers of the 70's in two Super Bowls they would have two losses too. Including Tom Brady. The Steelers have I believe 11 Hall of Famers from that team.

Take away Staubach's five years in the Navy and he'd likely have at least another ring. But four Bowl appearances and two rings isn't too shabby.   :D
