I am going to NY and I will stay on Manhattan for a few days. Are there any hardcore gyms there?

If you're hardcore, you'll make the pilgrimage to the Bev Francis Powerhouse Gym in Syosset.

If you're not hardcore, you might as well just do cardio on the stationary in the hotel gym.

I am only there for a few days and a full schedule so traveling too long is not an option. There seem to be several cool gyms in Brooklyn so I might go there if I have time. Where is Martinez gym?
Manhattan is big, there must be more hardcore gyms ...
