I always open doors hold doors and get up for females, in todays time I pride myself of
being a Gentlemen.
There is nothing and I mean absolutely nothing wrong with showing class, in fact it shows the rest of the world that even men with more muscle than the average Joe have some brain and are not all chauvinistic pricks.

Please define "nice guy"  !  My sweetheart is a nice guy. If he wasn't, he would have never had a chance with me in the first place. But then again, what is a "nice guy"?  Just because a man isn't mean nor hits women, doesn't automatically make him a nice guy.

I had always noticed that I got more attention from the womenfolk when I was smart ass, with witty, yet harmless wisecracks, than when I was a "gentleman", who women would say that I would make the perfect husband (attentive, caring, flowers, ugh ).

The gent thing died years ago, the 70s, 80s and finally the 90s killed it.
I am polite and courteous to every one but I believe in one set of rules for every one now or it just gets to confusing.
