I'm not going to meltdown. The g men played AWESOME. The pats deserved to lose , and they are not the greatest team ever. Not even close. The offensive line for the pays should be ashamed of themselves!

Congrats to the g mean. They deserved to win this game. No hate here!

The thing that irks me is that those a-holes from Miami are sipping the Champagne right now. Mercury is an old bitter bitch.

Is Giselle going to be blamed for the loss like Jessica Simpson was for Tony Romo? They panned to her before kickoff.

It sucks man. But you know what , the pats have no one to blame but themselves. What a piss poor game. The giants kicked there ass in the trenches.

The offensive line better give there game checks back, Matt Light played one of the worst games I have ever seen! Kudos to the g men , they are the world champs and they deserve it!

Wow...

I was going to start a thread but I'm too hammered.

Boddy 88 - you got me on baseball, but I got you on football this year, so let's call it a wash.  Stay classy, my man.  I haven't read the threads but I'm sure you caught more shit than you deserved.  You're been more realistic than anyone here, and I look forward to throwing down come spring training.  Don't let one game put a damper on ther greatness your team achieved this season.  Anything can happen in ONE game, but to domitate over 18 games cannot be denied.

I look forward to mixing it up over the nect 162.    This game will sting like 2001 did to me, but it doesn't erase what your team did throughout 2007..   Hold you head high.

Hats off to the Patriots' players (esp. Harrison, Brady, and Moss) for their good sportsmanship after the game.  Even in defeat, their comments were what you expect from champions.

I actually gained some respect for Rodney. He's always struck me as a prick so I figured he would've been a dick afterwards. Was pretty cool seeing the amount of respect they showed afterwards.

When I saw the opening drive I knew it was over.  The giants hit harder and wanted it more.  That's cliche but I saw it happen to Dallas and then to Green Bay and now the Pats.  The Giants were playing on another level...cliche.

The defensive line was the main difference.  I hope Strahan comes back for another year.

I really thought for a second that he might announce his retirement when they gave him the mic on the podium. Not that I wouldn't mind him coming back.

Did anyone else see Peyton going apeshit in the luxury box?  8)

Awesome game.. Even though it was low scoring, it was full of suspense.

Eli escaping the sack and making the miracle completion to Tyree was perhaps the greatest sports play I've ever seen.

I'm still a bit miffed at the Pat's game plan.  It looked like they changed nothing form the last 4 times they played.

Did they really think they could get away with doing the same thing over and over again?

Why did they put Moss in motion or in the slot to free him up?

Why didn't stay more committed to the ground game?

Why didn't they double Plex?

I think in a way they got a bit arrogant.

but what ever, hats of off to the G-men, congrats

And Joe Montana is still alone  ;D  (yeah yeah i know Bradshaw, blah blah balh  ;D)

Moss was doubled every play,in motion or not.
G-men's plan was stop the run{done}then get after Brady{done}
Plexico was doubled pretty much the entire game but on that td pass he was one on one because the Pats blitzed.

I don't remember seeing moss in motion at all.  Putting him in the slot frees him up into zone or one on one match ups for short routes.

the G-men did a fantastic job.  but what i didn't see was the Pats making any kind of adjustments.   I agree, that even if they did, not winning the battle on the line wouldn't have probably made any difference.

then full on blitzing Manning and not rolling a safety over was a bad gamble.
