After my last Meltdown regarding the pussiefication of Males in today’s society I would like to continue with something that has bothering me for ages...

Female Gyms:
Wtf is up with that shit?
Granted everybody must have felt at least a little bit intimidated when joining a new Gym and I can understand why certain females feel  intimidated if they are good looking and 6 muscle bears stare at them, but let’s be serious here, I have trained in a lot of gyms and I can honestly say there are only a very few people I can remember off that go to gyms to pick up woman – look at them or whatever.
Most guys I know go there to work out, it’s totally normal in any gym to look at other members, I don’t think these females mind being looked at when they go out and dance right? Will we have Female only clubs now because some men like to look at them dancing? Oh shoot we do have these clubs already they are called Lesbian clubs…
In general it seems funny to me that the females I have talked to who feel stared at in some cases work out with the most outrageous outfit you can think of, hot pants with Sports bra and then do bend over rows? Who wouldn’t look.
Now don’t get me wrong here Fellas, I do not for a second believe that a woman shouldn’t wear certain things in order to NOT get stared at, but in all seriousness, If I don’t want people laughing at me I choose not to wear certain things  ::)
So coming back to Female Gyms shit, I can see why there is a market for Female gyms but just imagine for a second we have male only gyms heh? YOU KNOW that as soon as the the gen. population gets wind of this and as soon as this outrageous decision becomes know to CNN you have certain "females" lining up wanting to join, simply because they feel their rights as woman are not met.

In fact has anybody ever tried to join up in an female only gym? And if so what was the outcome? I seriously play with the idea to try that out, see what they say to me.

Fertig, Aus.

Seriously are you stupid? I SAID I know why there is a market for these gyms, however I find in todays time with everybody trying to keep womans rights this is extremely hypocritical.

Read my threat first next time you jump to conclusions ::)

Fake Edit: You are excactly the type of guy I talked about in my last post, you fold up easy just to please certain woman ::)

bruce Trapec and co speak english please.

You guys missunderstood me a little, it's not something I loose sleep over, but when I see that a
golfclub here had a major lawsuit because they don't want to have female players (for what ever reasons) and we have Woman only gyms and nobody gives a fuck... THAT is pissing me off.

I hate it when society becomes hypocritical, and yes I do feel that we have a near reverse sexism, in todays time it has become fashionable to make fun of men in any way or form.

Our whole society is hypocritical. It was, it is and it will always be.

I'm trying, but trust me I have lived in Germany for a long ass time and I YOU know
that under the same circumstances you had the same bullshit.
It's not an Irish Problem, but it is a problem of our soft male society, the same kinda men that don't stand for anything anymore.
It's easy to shrug of everything and say it doesn't concern you but mate it DOES concerns you, just because you haven't been discriminated directly doesn't mean you don't need to be aware of this crap.

I serioulsy do, take my mother for excample, She is quite emanzipated and she asked me if I mind to have a healty discussion with likeminded females regarding the stuff I have talked with you guys here.
Let's just say it's hard to discuss something with 10 angry females when you are alone.
But I don't give a shit, this is something I believe in and since this is a primarily male domianted board I want to spread the message.

Female-only gyms are designed primarily for the unfit housewife-types who have NEVER worked out or belonged to a gym.  There are a ton of women out there who are intimidated by big gyms full of fit people and big guys lifting big weight.  If a woman has never lifted weights before, she is very unlikely to walk into a big gym and sit down on a bench next to some big dude pressing 100 pound dumbells and grunting.
Alot of women who are overweight and out of shape feel WAY too insecure to join a gym and start training...alot of them don't have the knowledge about training to do so by themselves anyway.
The women's only gyms have female trainers who try to ease these women into training and familiarize them with equipment, etc.  These gyms are geared heavily towards cardio, group exercise, and nautilus-type training.
They are for beginners IMO.  And I think they do serve a good purpose...any women who otherwise wouldn't join a gym and get into shape are benefiting from these gyms.

I worked out at a female only gym for one summer back about 10 years ago, and I didn't like it AT ALL.  It was a decent gym, and I only did it because it was the only one in the area on my way to work, but I hated not having any guys around, and I found it WAY less motivating because no one was lifting big weights or training hard.

In which way were they angry... e.g. at you because you are a male?

I think he's missing the point if he thinks that women go to these gyms because they don't want to be oogled by the guys at the gym or feel that their rights are somehow being violated at a co-ed gym because they get looks from the guys.

In my experience, the women who go to these gyms are not the type who wear little sports bras and booty shorts and are generally scared of the guys at the gym lol.  We should just be happy that they are trying to work out and get healthy.

So what nedt we have "FAT" only gyms? It doesn't matter why there are gyms like that, the fact that nobody gives a shit while on the other hand if the case would be reversed half of the world would go apeshit.

SERIOUSLY: Are you guys not reading my post? I don't give a shit about the individual that goes to these gyms I care about the general society that sees nothing wrong with female only gyms but would have a problem with Male only gyms.
