Man, that's really sad. I'd met that kid before...this is devastating. Don't know whether he had a wife and/or kids, but 36 is way too young for it all to be over.

Shame to see how people talk all kind of trash about a dead person! I have been Erik, friend for almost 6 years and the guy have never did anything or talk about any one in a bad way. Yes he did in the past have some problems with all kind of narcotic etc.. But believe me when I tell you that my last conversation with Erik, it was like a few days before he passed and I know for sure that he was a clean for almost a year and that is including any roids. He was doing great in generals. Erik, was closer to God and the bible more then he ever been. He was engaged to be married soon. So please let's not just assume stuff and wait until the autopsy determined what was the cause. He was working that morning and went to work on his break and his fiancée and friend found him dead on the floor and I want to mention another thing so you all can be aware of, the police and family searched his house and could not find anything that could determine the cause. so please instead of some of you on this board have to go on bashing Erik, say a prayer for the lost of good young man instead. Thank you and God bless.

I saw him guest pose several years ago. He wore this Viking costume and stripped it off as part of his routine.

Coincidently, a while before his guest pose, I just happened to be in the lobby of the auditorium and suddenly found myself standing next to him. He was about my height 5'8"-ish. He looked good, there and on stage.

Very sad.
