If Obama can win Georgia, what will he do in traditionally less-racists states?

I voted for him and I am 49 yr old white male living in Ga.
The guy is brilliant, and that pretty much sums it up.
Long way to go and don't count team Clinton out at this pt.

Georgia is 30% made up of African Americans though.

This has been a sad reality even during the campaiign and part of the reason he has a secret service detail even now.
Iowa is 95% white and he won there a well.
Hillary is a solid canidate overall, but is not the statesman that Obama is.
I liked Ron Paul, but saw him fall behind quickly.
I like Mitt Romney on economic issues but find him to be all over the map on other issues.

Obama got 64% of the vote in GA.
Hilary only got 30%

If Obama wins by that much (it might change) in a down south state, imageine how he'll do in other places!

Hmmm, but the delagte count is fairly proportional in all states for the dems.
This was a BIG win for Obama here in Ga.
Cal and Missouri will be the best indicator test overall.

His abilty to analyze dat and make judgements indicates a keen intellect in my opinion.

Are you kidding? He's much more likely to win in the southeast than elsewhere... the states there are the highest % black of any region, and Hillary is seriously disliked there. (also, she isn't a southerner... she just married one).

I agree with you on most of the issues your mentioned here, thus I was a Ron Paul supporter.
I even sent him 100 bucks 3 mos ago. Sadly, he never gained the needed traction to catch fire and win.
Obama can get things done and actually work with others. He will be great for our international policy and standing in the world. The guy just has that special "it" as sappy as it sounds LOL

That is why things never change.

Your attitude is shared by millions and if you all voted in what you believed in regardless of wether it was popular with the rest of the sleeping population or not, it could have made a difference. Maybe not a presidency but a chance to get the message of freedom from big government out to much more people.

The problem is, supporters of true candidates of change let the media talk them into the notion that "he has no chance", and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The mass media represents the status quo... they will marginalize any candidate who wants to make wholesale changes whether they are good for the country or not.

What we need is a libertarian-leaning "Manchurian Candidate"... talk the talk like he's a "regular politician", say whatever he needs to say to fool the media and get elected, then once in the White House, take the mask off, change his tune, and say what really needs to be said instead.
