Target heart rate vs Sprints
« on: February 05, 2008, 06:25:36 PM »
whenever I am in the target heart rate zone while doing cardio I feel like I could fall asleep.  I don't see how that could burn fat.

I am thinking about switching to sprints or the cross trainer machine..also does cardio before bed really work?

The EPOC for sprints is much higher, but it could be done at the expense of LBM.  If you arent a competitive bb, Id say go for it if you want.

Also, I found when I did cardio before bed (10,000years ago) that it kept me awake longer than I usually wanted.

Most people do that high/low cardio . It is suppose to be better. I do steady 145-150 cardio tho.  :)
