I would care. You cant just collect dna from people because one of these thousands of people driving on the road that night might be the serial killer. They cant solve the crime so they resort to everyone being suspect and therefore everyone should provide dna to the cops because "if your not guilty you have nothing to worry about". Thats total bullshit. Just because someone is killing people doesnt mean I have to assist the police in finding him.

So lets just let police do whatever they want to innocent civilians random searches of cars houses seizure of posessions and anything they deem necesary for an investigation that you would presumably have nothing to do with because everyone is supposed to be innocent till proven guilty.  Its becoming quite the opposite these days. Cops can get a warrant based on word of mouth.

If someone is selling drugs in a neighborhood lets have all the houses searched for illegal drugs because more than likely the dealer would have sold to someone in this neighborhood and they are contributing to the problem. If they catch the drug dealer and his clients no one will care if their house is trashed as long as that drug dealer and these "dopeheads" are caught right?

I understand what your saying, I took it as though you were justifying the actions of the police by saying no one would care if the guy gets caught. you dont spend too much time inside of court rooms do you? it seems like almost nothing is admisable in court these days.
