Looking good.  Appears to be about 15lbs larger than last year.  Expecting him to win Ironman and probably the Arnold, as well.  Best of luck to him!

Still in the upper 240ies...so I guess he will compete not under 240, thats pretty much weight. I think he need 250+ to be a mr olympia contender though!

But what a hell...

Oh yeah.  Now here's a good spokesman for the sport.  When's the last time we had someone who could put a sentence together or not mumble?  Not to mention, his physique is moving away from the current slop and toward aesthetics.  Here's to hoping as he improves, he stays that way.

Phil's a WEIDER athlete and I'm doing the work for FLEX. Nothing inaccurate about what they are posting - Matt was the one who failed to read the story and watch the video that says 19 DAYS OUT.

Phil is the closest thing we've come to seeing a legend in the making in a long time.

Haven't seen many people go 2 for 2 in their first two shows in . . . quite some time.

Good point.

Freaky Phil will easily take the Ironman and the Arnold. Where Phil is still improving and climbing, 90 percent of the other contenders have already passed their peak and are on their way down the mountain.

No one out there has the quality of muscle of Heath. Finally a guy with massive guns who won't need oil!

Cutler didn't bring him under his wing to show him how to train, you may want to recant that oil statement ;)

No, his physique will move towards the "slop"...they always do...look at bbing for the bast 20 years. Once you go pro, you just get worse. Phil will max out at 250+, after that, he'll have the trademark gut, but will kept the huge as guns.

I just watched the video of Phil Heath 19 days out from the Ironman.I would have to say Phil Heath is going to clean house at the ironman.

Yeh winters suck here, its minus 42 with the windchill right now :'(   I had to start my car with the keyless remote to let it warm up so it would start in the morning... the things we have to do to live here.. >:(

Why don't you move to California bro?

You got plenty of reasons for moving there.

Will be 2 more wins to kick off '08! EASILY! Dont see him ruining anything and only getting better.

Mr. O within 3 years, easy. Good to have a physique like Mr. Gifts back in bodybuilding.

With that said, anyone attending the Ironman??

Phil looks great.  He has a good track record of peaking on time for shows.  In terms of his muscle fullness and hardness, I'm reminded of pictures of Dennis James which you probably all remember.  I hope he maintains his condition and peaks on time and does not flatten out or overspill.  So far, it almost looks as if he's peaking too early, so we'll see how he is by show time.

Matt, what is your stack like these days? did GH ever give you specific plan to get to your goals?
