that's kind of curious, Bush did the same thing recently and sent out his daughter on the talk circuit.  They could have said the same thing about that with his low approval rating and all.  But to my knowledge they did not.  I agree, it crosses the line.  I didn't say anything when young Bush went out to talk on daddy's behalf.  Sure I raised an eyebrow and said WTF but it's common custom, off limits.

I think targeting a candidate's kid is out of bounds.  Doesn't matter to me if it's true, although I think it's impossible to say his comments were true.  That's his opinion.  It's unnecessary.  There is plenty to attack Hillary about.  They need to leave her kid alone.

I think Schuster is a decent commentator and what he said might have been a bit offensive to some but the term "pimping" is pretty watered down and the way he used it was not that terrible.    I think an apology for a poor choice of words is all that's needed.
