site injection soreness
« on: February 09, 2008, 03:26:48 PM »
hey guys....does the soreness on the area where you inject stay sore during the entire release time of the esters that you injected?...for example..would a prop site just stay sore for 2-3 days.. and a enanthate site stay sore for 2-3 weeks..?

Imposable to answer. It's a little different for everyone...every ester can effect everyone differently.

Plus, you could inject prop, have a sore injection site, do another injection later in the same spot, with the same prop and not get sore at all.

As for being sore 2-3wks from one injection...if this happens, don't use that gear, lol!

I agree 100%. We're all different. Sometimes it depends on how good the shot was (if that makes any sense). One time I did a pec injection on a fairly empty stomach after taking clen. My hands were so shaky & I fucked the shot up. I ended up with a bruise the size of a half dollar & pain for about a week.

do you wan to stick the needle all the way in..down to the tip, or is it better like half way?   how fast do you inject it? all at once...slowly,in intervals..?  do you rub the injection site after wards...i was told that doing this would help with the soreness..?

Going in depends on the length of your needle and how much fat you have in the area you are injecting.  You just want to make sure you are injecting into the muscle and not the fat layer which will cause slower absorption.

You should inject slowly and steady, not too fast or the oil might force out of the pin hole.  Never rub an oil based injection site, this causes the oil to rise up to the fat layer and sometimes leak out of the hole.  Rubbing it won't help with soreness really, soreness is really just related to the muscles adaptation ability to receive the compounds.  After 4-5 weeks it should go away completely (at least in the gluts, quads are a different story).

I use a 1" needle & leave about 1/8 on an inch sticking out. I just inject with a slow steady pressure (not too fast not too slow). I don't generally massage the injection site.

Right now you shouldn't be injecting at all (you're too young). But either way you should rotate sites.

so just out of curiousity would someone benefit more from injecting in the tightest skin over muscle?  for me would be the bicep?

You can inject into the delts, quads, pecs, tris, bis, calves wherever theres a large enough muscle group to take the amount you are injecting.  Generally I wouldn't inject more than 1cc into delts, calves, bi's or tris, glutes and quads are about the only ones that can take more than that optimally.

I've also read that the glutes are the only area where you'll get a 90+% absorption rate, anywhere else and you are looking at 70-80%.  Rotating each glute is fine so you hit one glute on Monday and the other glute on Thursday, same rotation for the following week.  It's always good to have other sites you are comfortable with as well once you get into mixing a lot of compounds, but you should be sticking with one for your first 3-4 cycles IMO.

The "tightness" of the skin is irrelevant as long as you are getting into the muscle.  This is difficult to do if you are injecting yourself, but you want to basically spread the skin apart very tight by placing your index finger and middle finger together (like you are going to finger fuck a girl) over the skin, then press against the skin and spread the fingers apart so they are in a V shape, then inject into the area between the fingers where the skin is taught.  This thins out the outer layer of skin and helps get the injection into the muscle.
