Ok maybe he was a good Rapper, I'm not really familiar with his work. But let's be honest, can't we all agree that the influence of so-called Gangsta-rappers has increased and intensified the pathologies in the black community? After being exposed 24-7 to MTV's Rap videos, we've had a whole culture of black (and white) youth's whose only goal in life is to be A pimp, or a drug dealer, or belong to a gang because their rapper idol portrayed it as cool. All these kids have seen were images of these"Thugs" driving expensive cars, banging hot chicks, etc. Of course they were brainwashed and unfortunately that has contributed to the ever escalating violence and incarceration rate in that community. I was dating this (white) woman who had the most beautiful 16 year old daughter I have ever seen and she was getting banged by this hideous grill-wearing savage that couldn't even complete a full sentence. That's when I knew, as a civilization, we were in a decline.

I wouldnt lump pimp c or UGK in that category thats mostly the new brand of hip hop and rap and ya i would have to agree with you on that one, shit is horrible, a good number of UGK tracks were about the hard times they faced and stuff like that not all about getting ass and makeing money but some where and they were good tracks as well
