there's signs all over the Golds gyms that I go to,but people still walk around talking on them.............if you get caught using one in a lockeroom they can can your membership.......I've never seen it happen but it's posted

i dont like wearing headphones shit gets in the way, and its hard to ignore when there yelling into the cell and taking up the piece of equipment you want for 10 mins

They aren't allowed in the gym closest to me. When I first saw the rule, I enquired about it, and their concern was about people surreptitiously taking photos of others in the locker rooms.

I go to Planet Fatness, I mean, Planet Fitness.  Ironically, the "gym with all the rules" does NOT prohibit cell phone use.  There are signs asking cell phone users to be considerate of others in the gym, but no "lunk alarm" will go off over cell phones.

come summer i'll be changing jobs..then i'll need to carry a cell in the gym..i'll be on 24/7 call..

if someones network goes down they loose $..and as a senior engineer i'll need my cell on me
