Since his last combat deployment in Iraq, Jeremy Hall has had a rough time, getting shoved and threatened by his fellow soldiers. The trouble started there when he would not pray in the mess hall.
"A senior ranking staff sergeant told me to leave and sit somewhere else because I refused to pray," Hall, a 23-year-old US army specialist, told AFP.....

I'v never run into anything this bad but I know that it exists. I think I'd friggen explode if somebody made me pray...Alot of the fundy's don't like catholics. Anyway read the story....I can say that nobody has come to me with a problem or required that I pray.

All my buddies have been mostly catholic..and mostly boozehounds....even the married guys...nobody mentions church or praying. We're all officers, we talk sports, chicks, porn...beer...I don't know. I have seen the pre ceremony invocations start to go longer but beyond that. I've been to plenty of fallen comrade ceremonies..no issues. Must be a problem somewhere..pretty big lawsuit.

Soldiers fight for our rights.  Even our right NOT to pray.     Messed up, stuff.

I'd really have a major problem with this if it were brought up to me.
