I'm an Asst. Plant Manager and I can tell you for a fact we don't test for steroids. We test for amphetamines, opiates, and marijuana thats all. As these are drugs that would affect your work performance. I fail to see how steroids would affect your work performance, unless they made you extremely hostile. Chances are it was the dope that got this guy in trouble but every company is different and i guess anything is possible nowdays.

Here's how stark can settle the debate.  Whenever you get drug tested, most states (and probably same in Ireland) require the company to give the applicant a notice of what they will be testing you for.  So, Stark can post up the notice from his company.  Easy.  Save your rep stark, post it up.

Groups that test for AAS:
Police and fire based mostly on suspicion and prior use.  Many in these careers have used or currently use but there is no standard test that I am aware of.

Special Operations Forces, particularly SF, test regardless and disallow supplements such as creatine. 


Other careers generally just check for recreational drugs like the ones listed before.
