Ironman: Analyzing Phil Heath's performance
« on: February 16, 2008, 11:07:13 PM »
i just gtot pms to analyze phil heath perfprmance and judge him accordingly to what i think his potential is, this is gh15 answer to all

1. any one who wins against gustavo is a force to consider

2. phil heath is narrow, his pecs are bad, never the less he is the dillet of the 2000s he came IN THE RIGHT TIME, bodybuilding is very very bad now days, he will have pretty easy time to be top 6 o for long time to come

3. yes he will win mr o due to age if health is ok,,he will win it sometime wether before or after wolf and vic but he will win it simply because bodybuilding is no more what it used to be ,,its a drug war and you can lack and still be mr o

4. yes phil heath is being prepared by weider to win mr o title,,it is preperatin in the making,,all the roads lead to this title ,,take cose attention at the work load he has right now ,,he is being pampered to replace jason unless wold come with an unbeliavble size and condition ,,it wil be hard becaue its always what weider wants in addition to the fact heath is a nice fella and not a dumbo

5. in the 90s as one of you asked he wouldnt be able to get top 6 ,,maybe top 10 but also not on regular basis,,

6. his arms start looking displaced on a natuional level competitor even when presenting best condition

7. he won all his pro shows ,,this is ususally means top 3 first o if does well in the arnold

8. he has to bring up the chest to match the arms HAS TO

9. hes not a hype as few of you say

10. in this time and era ,,when bodybuilding is in its lowest quality ,,,he will be a mr i winner simply because he poses what it takes part of the pack of the good ole days ,,,ray ken kevin dex ,,he is not in their leage but he poses the ability to be at their level of competition which is in this era of bodybuilding good enough for becoming the champ ,,he is dillet of today,,but he is dillet with more work ,,better drugs,,,a lot weaker competition ,,and a brain that listen to me and ray when we told him to sit out a year

so yes he will be the champ sooner or later even though he will always be narrow  ,,the illusion and thickness he will add in addition to the days we live in where competitors look like shit,,all go twards his direction of becoming mr o supported closely by papa weider

Of Course!  BTW, I started a thread on the politics board to reveal the true character of AMerican "Hero" John mccain. You might want to check it out when you get a chance.  ;)

Actually I agree with most of what he said.  ??? I think Phil is awesome, but I am having a hard time seeing him beat guys like Dennis Wolfe or Victor. The O has always been about freaks but, since last year when Jay won with such bad conditioning I pretty much lost faith in that show anyway.

it doesnt matter who i am ,,what matters is that when you win a competition againt gustav which is top 6 bodybuilders in the world ,,you get yourself a spot among those top 6,,doesnt matter what anyone think about it ,,its just the competition now days and he wins against it and not only wins against it but get FIRST PLACE IN ALMOST EVERY PROFESSIONAL SHOW HE ENTERS,,

i am far from impressed with the physiqe ,,what im impressed with is the ability to get firsts and improve,,he improved back,,and is lackin only in the pec/delt department to become mr o,, which can be brought up in 6 months like i said before,,he also is not ruined yet by oil and i dont think he will be because he wont need much if any in specific muscles

he is very very close to win mr o even this year and im a lot more impressed with wolf physiqe but this kid here is very close to making history in this era when winning such major title at 27 is unheard of

I doubt Phil is comparable to Paul D. However, what Phil brought to LA was very impressive. Huge arms and cuts for the poor. No one has looked like that in the pro ranks for a while now. He might have some weaknesses but nothing compared to his strengths. Dexter has weak calves but Phil's are fine. He looks great when photographed and didn't disappoint like so many others who look great a few weeks out, etc. I think he will be around for some time if he continues to present that package.

Come to think of it, congratulations to whoever set up the lighting at the Ironman Pro. Phil looks sensational there.

The lighting at the Ironman is the best in all of the shows. Someone, Ironman's Michael Neveux consistently year after year sets up the lighting and the stage to make the pictures look great.

As for Phil Heath, one arm is bigger than the other... which one, not sure, but that is what Phil said at the Ironman's seminar.  He is relying on Hany Rambod right now, and will continue to do so.

he dances half naked, i guess that is called a 'performance'.
