Bas worked with Kerr too. I didn't see it do him a lot of good.
But unlike Kimbo, Kerr hade a genuine fighting background.
How the hell you gonna teach Kimbo a ground game in a few months? He'll be like a fish outta water.
well, thats him playing smart...He isnt going to fight any 'ground' guy for his next matches, thats my opinion...Why loose to a fighter with purple belt in jiu jitsu and loose all his aura, if he has lots of chances of fight with stand up fighters???
for example, i think even old man Mark Coleman would beat him easily...he would never knock Kimbo, but taking him to the ground, and with the ground and pound would come a easily victory by points...as you said, Kimbo cant learn ground in just some months, so Bas probably is teaching him how to take the pressure a little, how to defend and how get up from the ground...
well, all of that imho...for the last months there are happening lots of upsets...
