Samuelsson is strong no doubt.
But the Isaac Nesser factor runs high in that guy.
His bullshit claims are legendary.
Recently he claimed to do 50 reps with 440 lbs in the deadlift - "it was great for endurance".
Also claims a PB record in the deadlift and squat of 800 lbs.
FWIW, I've seen the Samuelsson brothers bomb a team coin deadlift (bar 43 cm's off the ground) with 1400 lbs on the bar.
If Magnus could pull 800 lbs in a regular deadlift, I'm sure he could probably pull 900 lbs in the coin deadlift then. So that would mean that his brother pulls 500 lbs - in the coin deadlift.
And perhaps 350-400 lbs in a regular deadlift.
Strong.
Real fcuking strong.
Or perhaps, Magnus is pulling an Isaac Nesser.
The winners, Phillipi and Pfister, pulled 2100+ lbs, FWIW.
None, other than the Samuelssons, were under 1800 lbs I think.
Samuelsson's strong. No doubt.
But a talker of epic proportions.
