That pic is from Gunnar Paasche's website at an open door/day (whatever it is called) at Markus' gym.
Wouldn't surprise me if the baby is from a fan/friend/family of Markus who was there that day

Sorry, the baby is NOT his daughter. The little girl is the daughter of some friends from Markus and Simone. The photo was made yesterday in his gym.

I always find it interesting when people use the word "retirement" in reference to bodybuilding.  I associate "retirement" with a pension plan and benefits and most importantly, not having to work ever again.  None of these things really apply to bodybuilding.

In any case, congratulations to Markus and his wife!  That's great that he has achieved his goal of starting a new family.

People "retire" from sports all the time... in fact people "retire" from individual sporting events. What you associate with "retirement" has nothing to do with anything.

He's retired from bodybuilding...but he isn't enjoying a "retirement" in the manner that anyone would associate the word with I don't think.
